The best spot for diving in the state of Rio is Arraial do Cabo, famous for its beautiful beaches, transparent green waters and large variety of ocean wild life. The city is located 2 hours east of Rio and it worth to drive there for a wonderful full-day dive and boat ride experience. During the 20 min boat ride we enjoy the beautiful shore line of Arraial do Cabo while the Dive Master introduce the crew, the equipments and procedures for the activity.
The boat stops in two different dive spots and no previous experience is required. Unlicensed divers do one immersion, having the full support of an instructor, and have some time to swim and snorkel on the second stop. Licensed divers will do two immersions following the group’s instructor, so make sure to bring your license.
Arraial do Cabo is in fact the best place for diving in Brazil’s south. With turquoise waters, teeming with marine life (turtles, moray eels, queen angelfish, sea horses…) and some dozens of lakes and old ship-wrecks, Arraial do Cabo is a truly world-class place for scuba diving. Arraial do Cabo is an all year round.
